Denise Johnson has been a practicing attorney in Jacksonville
since 1982 and is a founding partner of the firm.
Ms. Johnson has spent her entire legal career in
private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. She
initially worked for a criminal defense firm where her
duties involved daily court appearances,
plea negotiations and other related criminal
matters, including a death row appeal.
Ms. Johnson has a Florida State
teaching license and is certified as an educator in Early
Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Mathematics and
Business law. Ms.
Johnson has maintained involvement in the educational
field throughout her career and is an avid advocate for
children and educational practices and reform.
Ms. Johnson is the administrative/managing partner
for the firm.
Ms.
Johnson graduated, magna cum laude, in 1978 from Appalachian
State University with a B.S. in Education, and from Stetson
University College of Law with a J.D. in 1981, where she was
an Associate Editor of the Stetson Law Review.
Ms.
Johnson is admitted to practice in the Florida State Courts,
the United States District Court for the Middle District of
Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
