Adam
L. Heiden has been associated with the law firm since
May of 2008. Mr.
Heiden represents clients dealing with Internal Revenue
Service tax controversy matters.
He also handles probate administration, and
debtors filing for protection under the bankruptcy laws.
Mr. Heiden assists with tax return preparation
and civil litigation for the firm.
Before
attending law school, Mr. Heiden worked for over three
and one-half years in Public Accounting as a Certified
Public Accountant first for Arthur Andersen, LLP
in the Washington, D.C. area and then for Ernst
& Young, LLP. While
working for these companies, Mr. Heiden focused on
general tax compliance and consulting and international
tax planning and consulting.
Mr.
Heiden graduated with honors from the
University
of
Maryland
in 2001 receiving a B.S. in Accounting and Finance.
He attended law school at The University of
Florida receiving a J.D. in 2007.
Mr. Heiden is a Certified Public Accountant,
licensed in the State of
Virginia
.
Mr.
Heiden is admitted to practice in the Florida State
Courts, the United States District Court for the
Northern and Middle District of Florida, and the United
States Tax Court.
